Our verdict
PS Pro Cleaning Services stands out for a genuinely health-focused philosophy, an eco-trained team, a huge public review footprint and one of the longest service days we have seen. It is also one of the few house cleaners that adds professional hot-water-extraction carpet cleaning to the menu.

- Based in: South San Francisco, CA
- Reputation: 4.5 stars across more than 360 Yelp reviews
Most cleaning companies talk about how your home will look when they leave. PS Pro Cleaning Services talks about how your home will feel to live in. That is a subtle but important difference, especially for families with young children, allergy sufferers, pet owners and anyone who spends a lot of time working from home.
Based in South San Francisco, PS Pro serves San Francisco and San Mateo County with residential, commercial and carpet cleaning, all built around what the company calls a "cleaning for health" philosophy. Combined with a strong public reputation, that focus makes it one of the most interesting companies we have reviewed on the Peninsula.
About PS Pro Cleaning Services
PS Pro Cleaning Services, also known as PS Pro Clean Services and PS Pro Services, describes itself as a dependable cleaning company the Bay Area can trust, offering affordable, high-quality cleaning for homes and businesses. Its home base is South San Francisco, and its service area stretches across the city and down the Peninsula.
The company's public reputation is one of its biggest strengths. PS Pro holds a 4.5-star rating across more than 360 reviews on Yelp, a volume of feedback that only comes from serving a large number of clients over time. For anyone choosing a cleaner for the first time, that depth of public feedback is reassuring.
PS Pro also keeps long hours, with service available from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Evening availability is rare in this industry and especially helpful for offices that need cleaning after hours or households that prefer cleanings outside the workday.
The "cleaning for health" approach
At the heart of PS Pro is a simple belief: cleaning goes beyond making spaces look visually appealing. The company's "cleaning for health" philosophy aims to turn a living space into a sanctuary that actively supports well-being.
In practice, that means using eco-friendly products and advanced techniques to eliminate allergens, bacteria and pollutants, creating a safer, more rejuvenating environment. PS Pro's technicians are described as certified green living advocates, and its Eco-Experts use sustainable practices and environmentally conscious products that deliver strong results while protecting the planet.
The company's community pages also describe its team as honest, hardworking neighbors who use safe, family-friendly products, and PS Pro offers friendly, bilingual service in communities like North Fair Oaks. For many Bay Area families, that combination of health focus, green products and approachable service is exactly what they are looking for.

Checklists that show the details

- Regular cleaning: entry door cleaning, cobweb removal, baseboard cleaning, and kitchen counter and appliance cleaning.
- Deep cleaning: everything in regular cleaning, plus cleaning behind and under furniture, grout cleaning, chrome polishing, light fixture and corner cleaning, and blind dusting.
Published checklists set clear expectations and show a company that is proud of its process. They also make it simple to compare services and choose the right level of cleaning for your home.

Who PS Pro is best for
PS Pro is an outstanding match for households where health is part of the cleaning conversation: families with babies or young children, people with allergies or asthma, pet owners dealing with dander and tracked-in dirt, and remote workers who spend most of the day at home. Its eco-friendly products and allergen-focused approach address those needs directly.
It is also a smart choice for homeowners who want to combine services. Instead of hiring one company for regular cleaning and another for carpets, clients can book both with PS Pro and keep everything on one schedule. Business owners who need evening cleanings will find the 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM service day especially convenient, and the strong volume of public reviews gives first-time clients confidence before they book.
Tips for booking with PS Pro
If allergies or indoor air quality are a priority in your household, mention it when you request a quote so the team can focus on the areas that matter most. Consider pairing a deep cleaning with carpet cleaning for a full reset, especially after winter or before welcoming a new baby or pet.
For move-out cleanings, note that trash removal is not included, so clear out garbage and leftover items before the team arrives. Business owners should take advantage of the long service day by scheduling cleanings in the evening, when offices are empty and the team can work without interruption.
